1. Approving the following actions on the South Guth Park Improvement project:
The irregular proposals submitted by Olmos Equipment Company and Lord
& Applegate, Inc. be rejected.
b. A contract for this project be awarded to Black Brothers Construction,
Inc. in the amount of $207,166.25, subject to Texas Parks and Wildlife
Department approval.
This project is being funded by Park Bond Funds and a matching grant from
the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Proposed improvements include the
construction of a hiking trail, modular play unit, group shelter,
informational kiosk, barbeque pit, picnic shelters, boardwalk with
observation decks, and two paved parking areas. Funds for this work have
previously been appropriated.
