Exhibit "A." Section 1 Scope of Services. Part A. BasIc Services, Item NO.2. Design Phase is amended to
include additional Design Phase Services for the McArdle Road from Nile to Ennis Joslin Proiect (Proiect
No. 6400). Services include the following
Site Investigation
2. Field Surveys to establish existing site conditions
3 Estimated Quantities for street, storm water. water, wastewater
4. Identify Right Of Way requirements
Consultant will develop an Opinion of Probably Construction Cost based on current cost along with providing
escalation for yeas 2007 through 2010
Exhibit "A" Section 3 Fees. Part A Fee for Basic Services is modified to include the following statement:
"The fee is subject to the availability of funds. The Engineer may be directed to suspend work pending
receipt and appropriation of funds"
"A Cash Flow Invoice Schedule IS required and IS included in this Amendment NO.3 as Exhibit "A-1".
The Cash Flow Invoice Schedule is to specify by monthnfor the duration of the contract--an estimate of
invoices to be submitted by the Engineer to the City,"
Exhibit "An. Section 3 Fees, Part C Summary of Fees is modified and is attached as Exhibit "B".
All other terms and conditions of the March 27, 2001 Contract between the City and Engineer, and of any
amendments to that Contract which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full force and effect.

Maverick Engineering Inc., (ME!) is pleased to provide our Professional Services proposal for the
development of an Opinion of Probable Construction Cost for McArdle Road from Nile to Ennis
Joslin. ME! understands the scope of services to include the following:

2) Field Surveys to Establish Existing Site Conditions
3) Estimated Quantities for

MEI will provide the Opinion of Probable Construction Cost based on current cost along with
providing escalation for years 2007 through 2010.
Maverick Engineering, Inc. proposes to provide the services listed above for the lump sum fee of
$24,993.00. I have included our man-hour breakdown for each activity for your review
