RATIFICATION AND AMENDMENT NO. 19
SEAWALL RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, a Texas home rule municipal corporation, P.O. Box 9277,
Corpus Christi, Texas 78469-9277 (City) acting through its duly authorized City
Manager or Designee (City Manager) and Shiner Moseley and Associates, Inc., 555 N.
Carancahua, Suite 1650. Corpus Christi, Texas 78478 (Engineer-AlE), hereby agree to
the following amendment of the Seawall Investigation Project Contract for Engineering
and Consulting Services approved March 24, 1998 (M98-085), and as administratively
amended February 11, 1999, March 26, 1999, and December 20, 1999, and as
approved by Council May 29, 2001, (M2001-208), and January 15, 2002 (M2002-022),
as approved by Council on April 30, 2002 (M2002-1250), as approved by Council on
October 29, 2002 (M2002-360) November 19, 2002 (M2002-383), as administratively
amended on December 18, 2002, as approved by Council March 4, 2003 (M2003-091)
and on June 24, 2003 (M2003-227) and as administratively amended on July 3, 2003,
and as approved by Council August 26, 2003 (M2003-304), and as approved by Council
February 17, 2004 (M2004-063), and approved by Council July 27, 2004 (M2004-284)
and approved by CounCil December 21, 2004 (M2004-460) and approved by Council
August 30 2005 (M2005-305) agree to the following amendment:
Section 1- Scope of Project IS amended by to authorize engineering services and
consultation to regarding pavement striping and layout alternatives located on the T and
L-Heads.
3. FEE - Section 3. Fee is amended to read as follows:
The City will pay the AlE a fee, for providing services authorized. The AlE will submit
invoices in accordance with the City's approved format.
10.0ISCLOSURE OF INTEREST
AlE further agrees, in compliance with City of Corpus Christi Ordinance No. 17112,
to complete as part of this contract the Disclosure of Interests form attached hereto
as Exhibit D.
All other terms and conditions of the March 24, 1998 contract, as amended, between
the City and Consultant will remain in full force and effect.

SEAWALL RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT - CONTRACT D
CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING AND CONSULTING SERVICES
1. SCOPE
The Consultant will provide engineering services and consultation to regarding
pavement striping and layout alternatives located on the T and L-Heads.
3. FEES
A. Fee for Basic Services. The City will pay the Engineer a fixed fee for providing
for "Basic Services" authorized in Section 1.A.1-2 above, and for all expenses
incurred in performing these services. The City will pay a not to exceed fee for
services authorized in Amendment No. 15 "Basic Services" Section 1.A.3
(Construction Phase) based on the actual hours incurred based on the hourly
rate set forth for Contract D.
The fees for BasIc Services will not exceed those identified and will be full an
total compensation for all services outlined. For services provided in Section
1.A.1-3, Engineer will submit monthly statements for basic services rendered.),
the statement will be based upon Engineer's estimate (and City Concurrence) of
the proportion of the total services actually completed at the time of billing. City
will make prompt monthly payments in response to Engineer's monthly
statements
B. Fee for Additional Services. For services authorized by the Director of
Engineering Services under Section LB. "Additional Services", the City will pay the
Engineer a fixed fee according to the table below in monthly progress payments based
on the engineer's estimate of percentage of completion.
