,\(rRF EMENT CO\'C'ERNING PAYMENT OF FUNDS
IN SUPPOR'l OF
(OMMUNITIES IN SCHOOLS, INC.
The ( It) ,)fCorpus Chfl'iti (the "City") and Communities in Schools, Inc. (the "Contractor"), a Texas
non nrofit corporation, make thi,> Agreement concerning payment of funds in support of the programs,
educational development Jnd community senices provided by the Contractor. The City and the Contractor
agre\.'
I. Ihe parties acknowledge that the Contractor has provided the citizens of Corpus Christi with after school
programs. youth mentoring sef\/1ces. and summer youth programs ("Programs").
2. lhe City wi]1 reimburse the Contractor up to $1,333.00 tor its costs to provide the Programs during the
pefllKi of August 1, 2006 through April 30. 2007. Requests for reimbursement shall be submitted to the City
Secretary. 120] leopard. Corpu'i Christi. Texas 7840 I.
3. The Contractor shall continue to prOVide after schoo] programs. youth mentoring services, and summer
youth programs for the benefit of the community. The Contractor shall provide all Programs in compliance
wlth applicable Federal. State. and Local laws.
4. The Contractor shall allow the City to revIew the books and records of the Contractor to monitor the
disposition of the funds paid under this Agreement. Such review of books and records would take place
during normal business hours of Contractor and may include an audit.
5. Should any audit or other revIew lI1dicate that any City funds have been applied to uses other than those
herem stated without the express and prior written approval of the City Manager, or his designee, Contractor
shall repay the City funds within 30 days written notice.
6. Ihls Agreement may be amended at any time by wntten agreement of the City and Contractor. Notices to
the Contractor shall be addressed to. Communities in Schools, Inc. P.O. Box 331203, Corpus Christi, Texas
784h3-1203. This Agreement takes eifeet upon execution by City Manager,
