The test borings were performed within the light-or-way and advanced \-vith a hand auger. Disturbed

All of the samples \vcre placed in plastic bag~, marked according to boring number, depth and other

Soil Conditions
The soosurface conditions at the site consist predominantly of an upper stratum of stiff to very stiff fat
clay SGils that extends to a depth of 10 to 13 - feet. The upper stratum of stiff to very stiff fat clay overlies
;1 deeper stratum of poorly graded sand that extended to the deepest boring termination depth of] 8-feet.
Detailed descriptions 01 the sods encountered at the boring locations are provided on the boring logs

Grou.w~ter Observations
Grounchvater observations were obtained at the boring locations. Results of the groundwater observations
obtained during and after drilling at the boring locations are provided in the following table:

GENERAL COMMENTS
I f there are an) revIsIons to the plans for the proposed project. or if deviations from the subsurface
conditiens noted in this report arc encountered during COJlstruction. RETL should be retained to determine
[f chaages in the recommendatIOns are required. If RETL is not retained to perform these functions,
RETL will not be responsible for the impact of those conditions on the perfOlmance of the project.
It is recommended that RFTL be retained to provide observation and testing during the construction phase
ur the proposed project. RElL cannot accept al1) responsIbility for any conditions that deviate 1i'om those
described in this report. 1I0r fix the performance of the proJect if not engaged to also provide construction
observation and testing If it is I eqmred t~)r R FT! to accept an)' liahility. then RETL must agree with the
plans and perform such observation during cnmtruclion a.\ \\e recommend.
"\I! sheeting. shoring, and bracillg of trenches, pits and e\ca\ations should be made the responsibility of
the contractor and should comply with all cunent and applicable local, state and federal safety codes,
regulations and practices. including the OccupatIonal Saf'f.ty and Ilealth Administration.
