AMENDMENT NO.1
TO CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
This City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "CITY", and RVE Inc.. hereinafter called
"CONSULTANT", agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional Services for
"'t1dron Road Street ImDrovements: Purdue to Glen Oak and Mediterranean Extension (Bond 2004

· EXHIBIT A., SECTION 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, PART B. ADDITIONAL SERVICES shall be
modified by the additional paragraphs shown below:
10. Storm Water System Televisina in Waldron Road
Upon receiving authorization from the City to proceed, conduct cleaning and televising of
existing storm sewer lines within Waldron ROW from Purdue to Glenoak. AlE will review
televising data and recommend repairs. AlE will provide associated data to the City's Storm
Water Department within 30 days of performing said activities.
11. Additional Sanitary Sewer Line Televisina in Waldron Road
Upon receiving authorization for the City to proceed, conduct cleaning and televising of
existing sanitary sewer lines that have not yet been televised within Waldron ROW from
Purdue to Glenoak AlE will review televising data and recommend repairs. AlE will provide
associated data to the City's Wastewater Department within 30 days of performing said
activities

attached Summary of Fees as shown in Exhibit "A"

During a June 20, 2006 meeting wIth Mark Van Vleck, RVE presented a summary of
unfunded Items and a preliminary opimon of cost for each. Discussions regarding repair vs.
replacement of the sanitary and storm sewer Jines affected by the improvements led to a
request by Me Van VIed. for additional televising of the sanitary sewer and several laterals as
well as televising the storm sewer I ines The fee for these services is listed below.

DEFINITIONS
a
Bipard Member. A member of any board, commission or committee appointed by the City Council of the City of
Corpus Christi. Texas.
Employee. Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, either on a full or part time basis, but not as
an independent contractor
Firm. Any entity operated for economic gain, whether professional, industrial or commercial and whether
eltablished to produce or deal with a product or service, including but not limited to, entities operated in the form
~ sole proprietorship, as self-employed person, partnership, corporation, joint stock company, joint venture,
receivership or trust and entities whicn, for purposes of taxation, are treated as non-profit organizations.
Official. The Mayor, members of the City Council, City Manager, Deputy City Manager, Assistant City Managers,
Department and Division Heads and Municipal Court Judges of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas.
