In ~e or~inal contract, Section 2. SCOPE OF WORK shall be modified by the addition of the
fo~bwing aicope as further described in the attached Exhibit "An: Preparation of Design Phase
dacuma~ts for draina~e improvements to Gilliam Street, Root Street, Bark Street and
N~dles ~treet. This change of scope required that MEI generate approximately 16
addition~ design drawings along with the gathering of additional field information
(tapo9nMphic surveys).

In a~cordaa~ce with your request, Maverick Engineering, Inc. (MEI) has incorporated
dra~age improvements to Gilliam Street, Root Street, Bark Street and Needles Street into
the Desig~; Phase docum~ts for the McNorton Channel Improvements project
This activity was identified as an out of scope activity by both City Staff and MEI. This
cha~tge of scope request required that MEI generate approximately 16 additional design
drar~ings ~tlong with gathering of additional field information (topo surveys).
Mav~rick ~ngineering, Inc. proposes to provide the design for the above referenced items
for ttie lu~p sum fee of $24,867.00. I have included our man-hour breakdown for each
respective activity for your review.
