This Gity of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "CITY", and Earth Tech. Inc., hereinafter called

^ In the original contract, Exhibit "A," Section 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, B. Additional Services
(A~owance), Item 11. Manhole Inspections shall be amended by the following additional
scope: Perform above-ground manhole inspections on 135 manholes in the Allison Basin,
Ar+ea #3, as shown on the map numbers attached as Amendment No. 2, Exhibit "A" (Map
Numbers 56-05, 56-06 56-02, 56-09 and 56-10).
^ In the original contract, Exhibit "A," Section 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, B. Additional Services
(ANowance), Item 12. Smoke Testing shall be amended by the following additional scope:
Pe~form smoke testing on -39,000 lineal feet of sanitary sewer in the Allison Basin, Area
#3, as shown as Amendment No. 2, Exhibit "A."
• In the original contract, Exhibit "A," Section 3. FEES, shall be amended to include the revised
lurnp sum fee of 24 904,00 for a total restated fee not to exceed $879.647.00.
All other terms and conditions of the Contract and Amendments between the City and Consultant
will remain in full force and effect.

Based on emails regarding the excessive flows identified in the Allison Basin, Area #3, Earth
Tech is submitting this letter request for Contract Amendment Number 2. This contract
am~ndment address additional areas tributary to Area #3 east of the original contract study area.
The area to be included is shown on the attached Map Numbers: 56-05, 56-06, 56-02, 56-09,
and 56-10. There are approximately 135 manholes and 39,000 lineal feet of sanitary sewers.
The Scope of Services is:
1. Perform above ground manhole inspections on 135 manholes per the Contract Scope
lisfied as Additional Services, Item #11, Manhole Inspections, and
2. Perform smoke testing on -39,000 lineal feet of sanitary sewer per the Contract Scope
list as Additional Services, Item # 12, Smoke Testing.
The fees to perform the manhole inspections on 135 manholes and smoke testing of --39,000
lineal feet of sanitary sewers would be a lump sum amount of $24,900.
Scheduled start for the work in this amendment is October 26, 2006. Duration is approximately
3 weeks for a completion date of November 16, 2006. The schedule for this amendment should
not impact the Contract Draft Report (Allison Basin SSES) submittal date of November 27, 2006
