• In the original contract, Exhibit "A", 1. Scope of Services, B. Additional Services, Item 10. Mary
Carroll Channel Bridge, the following additional service is added:
~. Provide construction observation services for the Wooldridge Road Bridge Replacement,
Project No. 2197, as outlined in Exhibit "A", 1. Scope of Services, B. Additional Services, 5.
Construction Observation Services of the original contract:
This project consists of replacing a 50' existing wooden bridge facility with a five barrel,
12'x10'x70' concrete box culvert, roadway reconstruction, changing a 20' roadway section with
open ditch storm sewer to a 4-lane, 50' section with curb & gutter, sidewalks, water and
wastewater improvements.
^ Schedule and Summary of Fees is amended as described in the attached Exhibits "A" and "A-1."
All other terms and conditions of the Contract and Amendments between the City and Consultant
will remain in full force and effect

PRQJECT BACKGROUND
Amendment No. 1 consists of pro~~iding construction observation services for the Wooldridge
Road Bridge Replacement. Project N~~. 2197.
A~ND~!IENT NO. 1 - DESCRIPTION
~['hi~ project will be a local let 7~~YDOT project. TxDOT will provide funding for the bridge and
roadwa~~~ improvements while the City of Corpus Christi will provide funding for the water,
w~astewater, and street li~hting impro~~ements.
V4 ooldridge Road Bridge Replacement consists of replacing a 50' existing wooden bridge
faeilit~- with a fi~~e barrel, 12"x l U'x70" box culvert with parallel wing walls on each side. This
project also includes 6O3' of roadwav reconstruction, changing a simple 2-lane, 20' roadway
szctioil with an open ditch storn~ sewer design to a 4-lane, 50' section with curb & gutter, tied
sidewalks, and a subsurface 5tonn se~~er. Also included in this project are water and wastewater
improvements consistin~ of 12"' FVC wastewater line, manholes, and 8" and 12" PVC waterline,
together with all appurtenances in accordance with the plans. specifications, and contract
documents.
