3. AQDITIONAL SERVICES - Additional Services is amended by adding "Excess
Reviews" and °Additional Construction Observation" tasks for Major Outfall Repairs
- Phase I, Part B(Alta Vista Outfall Improvements) as described in the attached
Exhibit A.
5. FEE - Fee is amended to read as follows:
The City will pay the A/E a fee sn the amount of $10,400 for providing additional
services authorized as described in Exhibit A.

B. Ad~ditional Services
Construction Phase. The Engineer will perform contract administration to include the
fo~lowing
• Excess Reviews (beyond initial subm~ttal review) for conformance to contract
documents, shop and working drawings, materials, and other submittals.
• Additional Construction Observation - Make periodic visits to the site of the
Pro~ect to observe the general progress and quality of work, and to determine, in
general, if the work is being done in accordance with the contract documents.

FEES
B. Fee for Additional Services. For services authorized by the Director of Engineering
Services under Section I(B) "Additional Services", the City will pay the Engineer a

engineer's estimate of percentage of completion.
