AMENDMENT NO. 3
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, hereinafter called "City", and Shiner, Moselev and
Ass iate,~, Inc., hereinafter called "Engineer", agree to the following amendments to
the Contract for Engineering Services for Greenwood Drive - Phase 1- from Gollihar
Road to S.P.I.D., as authorized and amended by:

EXH~IT "A", PART 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, SECTION A. BASIC SERVICES,
ITEIVI NO. 2 DESIGN PHASE, ITEM NO. 3 BID PHASE, AND ITEM NO. 4
CON~6TRUCTION PHASE shall be modified to expand the Basic Services to
incl~le the following:
• WA~TEWATER LlNE UPGRADES -~r~vide complete videotape review for all
wastewater lines and manho!es with;r, the strEet right-of-way, except the 21" line.
The Engineer will make recommendations for upgrades of all lines, coordinate
with City representatives and include final determinations in the construction
plans and specifications :n addition to the lines included in original contract.
i WA~TEWATER EFFLUENT FORCE MAIN SPID CROSSING - Provide
altemate design analysis to directionally drill a new 8" effluent force main line
with casing replacing thE:~ existing 8" ~C line. The Engineer will coordinate with
City and TXDQT representatives s~nd include final determinations in the
canstruction plans and specifications to complete the crossing, tie into new
effluent force main lines and all required traffic controls. This additional design
analysis wili include sub-surface exploration included in the original contract.

the exception of the 21-in wastewater line, recommend repairs where needed
utilizing input from City representatives, present these recommendations to City
representatives; and modify plans. specifications and cost opinion accordingly.
• Obtain needed authorization from TXDO~T, develop design, construction plans and
specifications, traffic controi plan and an opinion of probable construction cost for
pa~ssing the effluent force main beneath SPID by directional drilling.
