AMENDMENT NO. 3
~ONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONA~ SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter ~alled "City", and BROWN AND CALDWELL
hereinafter called "Engineer", agree to the following amendments to the Contract for
Engineering Servi~es for Citv-wide Infiltration Related Collection System Enhancement
Pro am, as autharized and administratively amended by:
Original Contract November 8, 2005 Administrative A roval $24,950.00
'~ Amendment No. 1; February 28, 2006 Motion No. M2006-061 $944,839.00
'~ Amendment No. 2 December_20, 2006 Administrative A roval $22,500.00
Exhibit "A", Section 1. Scope of Services, Part B. Additional Services shall be modified
by the addition of the following:
2i~ Wastewater Feasibility Study South of Oso Creek - The project consists of performing a
study on the feasibility of expanding the City's wastewater collection system south of
~so Creek The study area will be bounded by Oso Creek to the north and east, by
~;aunty Road 18 on the south, and by County road 49 and Farm Road 63 on the east.
A~ Consultant will meet with ~;ity staff and participate in discussions to define of intent
of the Project and to ~,ollect the available data, related studies and the associated
maps
; B ~ Consultant will review and investigate the available records, archives, and pertinent
data reiated to the Project in conformance with the City's adopted Wastewater
Collection Svstem Master Plans.
G ~ Consultant will caiculate the ultimate design flows for the sub-basins within the
study area and wil~ determine tr~e facility improvements required to provide
wastewater service.
; D i Consultant will present the findings n a letter report and the associated exhibits.
Exhiait "A", Section 3. Fees shall be modified as specified in Exhibit "B" Summary of
Fees.
All other terms and condit~ons of the November ~., 2005 contract between the City and Engineer,
and of any amendments to that ~on#ract, which are not specifically addressed herein shall
remain in full force and effect.

Please find enclosed amendment 3 for the city wide infiltration related collection
system enhancement program, project number 7344A. This arr~endment covers
Task 20 under the sewer master planning efforts which covers additional services for
a wastewater feasibility study south of C~o Ca~eek. These tasks are described in detail
as attachment A of the amendm~ent. Total fee for these additional services is not to
eicceed $22,680. Backup for fee is also included in the attached amendment.
