TO THE
CDBG SUBREClPIENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AND
C~RPUS CHRISTI POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE
This first amendment ("First Amendment") is made by and between #he Corpus Christi Police
Athletic ~.eague ("Subrecipient"), and #he City of Corpus Christi ("City").
WHEREAS, the City ar~d thie Subrecipient executed an agreemen# ("Agreement"}, which was
app~oved by the City Council fa~ the purpose of ~tiEizing the City's FYO~ and FY05 Community
Development Bloc~c Grant ("CDBG") Program funds;
WHEREAS, the Agreement terrr~inates June 30, 2007;
WHEREAS, the parties ta the Agreement'desire to execute this Third Amendment to revise and
extend the term stated in the Agreement.
Section 9. Section 9, subsection 9.1, of the Agreement is deleted and replaced with the
ffll~owing language:
"9.1 Term. This Agreement terminates April 30; 2008. Extensians to the
#erm of this Agre~men# may be requested by t~e Subrecipient and appro~ed by
the City Manager. Howe~er, the Subrecipient is bound by all covenants, terms,
and conditians af this Agreement including, without limitation, recor~lceeping, for
a~eriod of six (6) yea~s commencing on the date of the Subrecipient's execution
of triis Agreement, unless a specific bourid period is shorter or longer as may be
stated in this Agreement." ~
5ection 2. By ~xecutia~ of this First Amendment, the parties agree to revise and extend the
term stated in the Agreement. All terms and conditio~s af the Agreement not changed ~y this
~irst Amendment remain the same and in full force and effect.
