CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "CITY", and CHUCK ANASTOS ASSOCIATES, LLC.,
hereinafter called "CONSULTANT", agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional
Services New Southside Fire Station (Protect No. 5169) (BOND ISSUE 2004 , as authorized and
administratively amended by:

Amendment No. 1 December 19, 2006 M2006-423 $124,500.00
EXHIBIT "A", SECTION 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, PART B. ADDITIONAL SERVICES shall be modified
to increase the scope as outlined in the attached Amendment No. 2, Exhibit "A" Letter Proposal.
EXHIBIT "A", SECTION 3. FEES, PART C. SUMMARY OF FEES shall be modified as showing the
attached Amendment No. 2, Exhibit "B", a revised fee not to exceed 7 853.00 (Seven Thousand Eight
Hundred Fifty Three Dollars and Zero Cents), for a total restated fee not to exceed $144,853.00 One
Hundred Fort Four Thousand Ei ht Hundred Fift Three Dollars and Zero Cents .
Ali other terms and conditions of the June 27, 2006 contract between the City and the Consultant, and of
any amendments to that contract, which are not specifically addressed h shall remain in full force and
effect.

This letter is written as a formal request #or an increase in the AIE fee for additional
engineering services on the above referenced City Project, as described below:
The extended offsite topographic survey, feld work and design of the sanitary
sewer service for our Project.
The total amount of additional fees requested for this additional work is Seven
Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Three ($ 7,853.00) Dollars.

DEF1NlTIONS
a. Board Member. A member of any board, commission or committee appointed by the City Council of the City of
Corpus Christi, Texas.
b. Employee. Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, either on a full or part time basis, but not as
an independent contractor.
c. Firm. Any entity operated for economic gain, whether professional, industrial or commercial and whether
established to produce or deal with a produck or service, including but not limited to, entities operated in the form
of sole proprietorship, as self-employed person, partnership, corporation, joint stock company, joint venture,
receivership or trust and entities which, for purposes of taxa ion, are treated as non-profit organizations.
d. Official. The Mayor, members of the City Council, City Manager, Deputy City Manager, Assistant City Managers,
Department and Division Heads and Municipal Court Judges of the Cify of Corpus Christi, Texas.
e. Ownership Interest. Legal or equitable interest, whether actually or constructively held, in a firm, including when
