These issues are ummar~~ed as follows; 1. Additional construction administration due to ontractar's overrun of time, ~. Top slab farm failure ~. Add twin " dia. PVC conduits for future fiber optics 4. Raising the floor of the MAD Room ~. Add cabinets and water cooler to office. ~. Add photocells to lighting. 1. Reviewladd system to drain Shoreline ~Ivd. south of Kinney St. The ontractar has greatly exceeded the completion time far the project. original contract Time was 5~ calendar Days {~~ Months}. The U1~ork Order was issued November ~4, ~~0~ and construction should have been completed by November, ~~4G. Additional time of 11 ~ days has been added by change order, mainly far the engine replacement work at the Power St. Pump Station. This work is also yet to be done, Total approved contract time amounts to 4~~ Days, construction time at the end of August amounts to ~4fi calendar Days {~~ Months and there are several vnanths of work remaining. Approved contract time has been exceeded to date by approximately ~.7b months. Our engineering fee for the construction administration o~ this project i $7,~aD. If the overrun is taken as a pro-rated value the additional fee would be 32, ~~~ {b.~5 Mo. x 7,OOal~ ~ Mo.}. vVe have looked at actual cost for the additional time due to the overrun ar~d a cost breakdown is provided on the attached table. The casts are contributed to the time associated with additional preparationlreview of pay estimates and daily reports, the additional time required far site visits and status meetings with pity and ontractar. vVe are requesting that an amount of ~~ ,a10 be provided to cover the additional engineering services. Significant time was spent investigating the failure, rr~veting with the contractor reviewing proposed solutions, rr~aking recommendations to the pity and observing the load testing.
