This first amendment {r`~i~tArr~endrnent"} is made by and between the City of Corpus Christi
~"City"}and Nueces bounty Mental Health and Mental Retardation Community Center ~"u~-
~ecipient"}.
wI~EREA~, the City and the ubrecipient executed an agreement ~"agreement"}, approved by
the City's City Council an April 1 ~, ~0~7 Res, g27~~8}, for the purpose o~ providing supporkive
housing services through an allocation by the City to the ubrecipient of federal Continuum of
Care grant funds;
1~VHEREA, the term of the Agreement commenced on the date the City Manager executed the
Agreement, that date being May g, 2~a7, and terminated August 3~ , 2808; and
wH~REA, the parties to the Agreement mutually desire to execute this ~irstAmendment to
reprise the commencement date and the timing of the termination date by restating the date and
ti.rne, respectively, to coincide with the terms of the City's funding agreer~ent with the federal
government.
section 1 ~ section ~.1 of the Agreement is deleted and replaced with the following language:
"3.~ Tenn. This Agreer~ent commences September 1, 200, and terminates at the
close of business on August ~, X008."

ment date and the timing of the termination date stated in thegreement, Ail terms and cor~-
dition of theAgreement nat changed by this FirstAmendent rerr~ain the same and in foil farce
and effect.
