PR~JE~T MANAGEMENT Ei~VIE The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "City" and Anderson rou ~onstructi~n Mona ement Inc., hereinafter called "Consultant",hereby agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Ca ital Pro~ect Marra ement Services for the Ca ital lm rovement Pro ram Pra~ect No. 9b111 Section 111, Fee is amended to read: IV. FEE A. Fee for Basic Services Authorized. The City will pay the Consultant a lump sum fee not to exceed 4~,SOa,aa for Amendment No~ ~ for a restated oontract fee not to exceed 2,7~7,8~0.00 for providing the services as outlined belowF The fee will be full and total compensation for services and for all expenses incurred in performing these services. Consultant will submit monthly statements far basic services rendered. For services provided in Section II.A the statement will be based upon the Consultant's record of total services actually completed at the time of billing. This will include the development of project scopes, project budgets, schedules, and arch~tecturallengineer proposals. The Consultant gill conduct proposal evaluations, contract negotiations, review of project plans and specifications per City standards, assist with contract bidding, evaluation and award. The Consultant will coordinate with City Departments, consultants, and contractors. Typical services will include: Attend design review meetings and pre-construction conferences with the City staff, City Engineer, City's design consultants and canstruction contractor's key personnei. Establish communication procedures with City staff, City Engineer, City'a design consultants and Contractor. a. Reports will describe project progress in general terms and include a summary of project casts, cash flog, construction schedule and pending and approved contract madificationsF Reports will be incorporated into the Management Information System. c. Maintain a document control system designed to track the processing of project submittals and provide foaling and retrieval of project documentation. Produce monthly reports indicating the status of all project communications, Send contractor's submittals, including requests for information, modification requests, chap drawings, schedules, and other submittals to the City's design consultants for review in accordance with the requirements of the construction contract documentsfor the projects. Monitor the progress of the contractor and City's design consultants in sending and processing submittals to see that documentation is being processed in accordance with schedules. dF Review architect's, engineer's, and contractor's application for payment and recommend payment in accordance with the procedures in the construction contract dacur~ents. e. Establish and maintain a project documentation system consistent with the requirements ofcontract documents, including reports and tracking corrective actions, f. Provide three full time persannel to serve assist with program, project and technical management of Capital Improvement Projects. g. Assist the City in obtaining legal releases, permits, and other documents required as a result of the projects. h~ Consultant will review and familiarize itself with the detailed schedule of the project implementation. i. Contract Administration, Construction Phase Procedures, and Scope of Services -Consultant will assist with caardination and communication among facility managers, Consultant, City, design prvfessional~s}, and contractors} and other appropriate parties in accordance with the City's objectives of time, quality, and costs. j. Coordination of other Independent Consultants -~ Consultant will assist the Ci#y Engineer with coordination of technical inspection and testing, including field testing, provided by design prvfessional~sy, or other third parties retained by City, k, Removal of Asbestos or any other Hazardous Material -The Consultant will only provide assistance in coordinating removal work, if any, with other ongoing activities, The Consultant will not be responsible for performing any asbestos ar hazardous material administration, abatement, rr~onitoring, management, removal, encopsulation, mitigation, or disposal activities. The Consultant gill not be responsible far any failure of contractar~s~, subcontractors, design professionals, a~sbestoslhazardous material firms, or other third porkies to adhere to any regulatory requirements.
