TO CONTRACT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
This City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "CITY", and SOLKA NAVA TORNO
ARCHITECTS, hereinafter called "CONSULTANT", agree to the following amendment to the
Contract for Professional Services for Northwest Libra Ex ansion Project No. 4399 as
previously authorized and amended by:

Amendment No. 1 June 2, 2006 Administrative A royal $11,780.00
Amendment No. 2 Jul 11, 2006 Motion No. 2006-197 $61,840.00
^ In the original contract, Exhibit "A", PART 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, SECTION B. ADDITIONAL
SERVICES, 4. Construction Observation Services shall be modified by the addition of the
following scope: Additional construction observation due to the additional construe#ion
contract time of 65 days, for a total construction period of 370 days.
^ Summary of Fees is amended as described in the attached Exhibit "A" for a revised fee not to
exceed 6 320.00 Six Thousand Three Hundred Twen Dollars and Zero Cents Z, far a
total restated fee not to exceed 276 325.00 [Two Hundred Seventy-Six Thousand Three
Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars and Zero Centsl. ~ ~~ ~~~-
Ali other terms and conditions of the Contract and Amendments between the City and Consultant
will remain in full force and effect.

DEFINITIONS
a. Board Member. A member of any board, commission or committee appointed by the City Council of the City of
Corpus Christi, Texas.
b. Employee. Any person employed t)y the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, either on a full or par# time basis, but not as
an +ndependent contractor.
c. Firm. Any entity operated for economic gain, whether professional, industrial or commercial and whether
established to produce ordeal with a product or service, including but not limited to, entities operated in the form
of sole proprietorship, as self-employed person, partnership, corporation, oint stock company, join# venture,
receivership or trust and entities which, for purposes of taxation, are treated as non-profit organizateons.
d. Official. The Mayor, members of the City Council, City Manager Depu~Ci#y Manager, Assistant City Managers,
