The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "CITY", and Coym, Rehmet ~ Gutierrez Engineering,
L_P.j hereinafter called "CONSULTANT", agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional

^ In the original contract, Exhibit "A", Section 1. SCOPE OF WORK shall be modifred by the addition of the
following scope:
- Design of sanitary sewer and force main improvements associated with Additive Alternate No.
3 in the bid documents.
^ In the original contract, Exhibit "A", Section 3. FEES is amended as described in the attached Exhibit"A-1"
for a revised fee not to exceed 22 250.00 Twen -Two Thousand Two Hundred Fi Dollars and Zero
Cents , for a total restated fee not to exceed 678 894.00 (Six Hundred Seventy-~igMt Thousand Eight
Hundred Nine -Four Dollars and Zero Cents .
All other terms and conditions of the Contract and Amendments between the City and Consultan# will remain
in full force and effect.

Dear Mr. Stowers.
We were reccr:tly requested to prepare a contract amendment far the following item:
Design of sanitary sewer and force main improvements associated with Additive Altemate No. 3 in the bid
documents.
The proposed contract amendment involves additional monies for the Design Phase. The analysis is explained below:
Design 1'hase•
We were recently requested to design and prepare plans required to extend the 24" gravity sewer line and 24" force
main from the north side of Saratoga Blvd. to the Country Club Lift Station. This work will be added to our propose!
under "Change Order No. l" to the contract with SLC Construction and will incorporate the unit prices from SLC's bid
items associated +vith "Additive Altemate No. 3". Our scope of work will include the following:
+ Topographic and Linc Locates Survey from Saratoga Blvd. to the Country Club Lift Station
• Meetings with Engineering and Wastewater staff
• Design of the 24" force main, 24" sanitary sewer and relocation of the existing l2" waterline
• Design of the Traffic Control Plan for the additional pro}eet area
• Design of the striping plan for the additional project area
• Design of the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan for the project area.
The manhour analysis far completion of this work as been incorporated in Attachment "A". The total amount for this
contract amendment is 522, 250.00.

DEiFINITIONS
a. "Board MembeP'. A member of any board, commission or committee appointed by the City Council of the City of
Corpus Christi, Texas.
b. "Employee". Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, either on a fu11 or part time basis, but not
as an independent contractor.
c. "Firm". Any entity operated for economic gain, whether professional, industrial or commercial and whether
established to produce ordeal with a producf or service, including but not limited to, entities operated io the form
of sole proprietorship, as self-employed person, partnership, corporation, joint stock company, joint venture,
receivership or trust and entities which, for purposes of taxation, are treated as non-profit organizations.
d. "Official". The Mayor, members of the City Council, City Manager, Deputy City Manager, Assistant City Managers,
Department and Division Heads and Municipal Court Judges of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas.
e. "Ownership Interest". Legal or equitable interest, whether actually or constructively held, in a firm, including when
such interest is held through an agent, trust, estate or holding entity. "Constructwely held" refers to holding or
