HomeMy WebLinkAboutC2008-072 - 3/11/2008 - ApprovedAGREEMENT CONCERNING PAYMENT OF FUNDS IN SUPPORT OF SOUTH TEXAS SUBSTANCE ABUSE RECOVERY SERVICES, INC. The City of Corpus Christi (the "City") and South Texas Substance Abuse Recovery Services, Inc. a Texas nonproft corporation, (the "Contractor"), make this Agreement concerning payment of funds in support of the programs provided by the Contractor. The City and the Contractor agree: 1. The parties acknowledge that the Contractor provides case management services and substance abuse treatment to homeless or at-risk of being homeless individuals. These programs ("Programs") are further described on the attached Exhibit A. 2. The City wiIi reimburse the Contractor up to $1,000.00 for its incurred during the period of March 1, 2008 to July 31, 2008, to provide the Programs. Requests for reimbursement shall be submitted to the City Secretary, 1201 Leopard, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401. 3. The Contractor shall provide all Programs in compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws. 4. The Contractor shall allow the City to review the books and records of the Contractor to monitor the disposition of the funds paid under this Agreement. Such review of books and records would take place during normal business hours of Contractor and may include an audit. 5. Should any audit or other review indicate that any City funds have been applied to uses other than those herein stated without the express and prior written approval of the City Manager, or his designee, Contractor shall repay the City funds within 30 days written notice. b. This Agreement may be amended at any time by written agreement of the City and Contractor. Notices to the Contractor shall be addressed to. South Texas Substance Abuse Recovery Services, Inc. 907 Antelope Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401. This Agreement takes effect upon execution by City Manager.
