SCOPE OF WORK shall be modified by the addition of the following scope: As part of the Bond Issue 2008 Street Improvements Program, the Ci#y of Corpus Christi proposes to include several neighborhood clusters to receive paving improvements. In addition, water, wastewater, storm water and gas improvements will be funded out of the capital improvements program, as appropriate. Preliminary scoping, area maps, and opinions of probable costs will be prepared for the following neighborhood clusters: Parkdale Village -This neighborhood i5 located just south of Goliihar Road on the west side of Everhart Road. The project limits are bounded by Adkins Drive, Mildred Drive, Tottan Drive and French Drive, and incorporate approximately 61 acres. The scope of work includes street improvements and miscellaneous improvements to the water, wastewater, storm water and gas systems in the subdivision. McNorton Neighborhood -This neighborhood is located south of Leopard Street between Rand Morgan Road and Clarkwaod Road. The project limits include McNarton Road, Caroline Road, Blanco Road and Marshall Road, and incorporate approximately 83 acres. The scope of work includes street improvements and miscellaneous improvements to the water, wastewater, storm wa#er and gas systems in the subdivision. Violet Neighborhood -This neighborhood is located in the Annaville area of the city. The project limits are bounded by Callicoate Road, Leopard Stree# and Violet Road, and incorporate approximately 509 acres. The scope of work includes street improvements and miscellaneous improvements to the water, wastewater, storm water and gas systems in the neighborhood. ^ SCHEDULE amended as follows: 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES A. Basic Services. Basic Services for Amendment No. 2 will include the following: 1. Scoping Phase (Authorized) 'l. Prepare preliminary scoping, area maps and opinions of probable costs for the following neighborhood clusters. a. Parkdale Village Neighborhood Cluster b. McNorton Neighborhood Cluster c. Violet Neighborhood Cluster 2. Field-verify existing site conditions. 3. Review previously developed sketches, designs and/or engineering reports provided by City. 4. Review infrastructure lifecycle criteria and Master plans. a. Evaluate existing street conditions based on field observation and City provided information. b. Evaluate existing Utilities condition based on field observation and City provided information. Project Assumptions: 1. City will provide utility base maps in electronic format, traffic projections, and unit prices to be used for development of the preliminary opinion of probable construction costs. 2. No topographic or boundary survey will be provided by the Consultant forthis project. 3. No geotechnical survey services will be provided by Consultant for this project. The City staff will: a. Designate an individual to have responsibility, authority, and control for coordinating activities for the project. b. No. 21F~ibii Adoc 2. SCHEDULE A/E will provide Basic Services in accordance with mutually agreeable schedule. 3. FEES A. Fee for Basic Services. The City will pay the AIE a fixed fee for providing for all "Basic Services" authorized as per the table below. The fees for Basic Services will not exceed those identified and will be full and total compensation for all services outlined in Section I.A.1-4 above, and for all expenses incurred in performing these services. For services provided in Section I.A.1-4, AIE will submit monthly statements for basic services rendered. In Section I.A.1-3, the statement will be based upon A/E's estimate (and City concurrence) of the proportion of the total services actually completed at the time of billing. For services provided in Section I.A.4, the statement will be based upon the percent of completion of the construction contract. City will make prompt monthly payments in response to A/E's monthly statements. B. Fee for Additional Services. For services authorized by the Director of Engineering Services under Section I.B.
