The headings and outline designations refer to those from the original contrac#; amended sections retain the same number and letter designation; new sections append the sequencing of the original contract. EXHIBIT "A", PART 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, SECTION B. ADDITIONAL SERVICES, shall be modified to include the following services for January and February 2008 as explained in the attached Exhibit "A": ITEM N0.1 PERMIT PREPARATION • Provide additional coordination with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USAGE). ITEM N0.4 CONSTRUCTION OBSERVATION SERVICES • Provide additional construction observation services for the removal of existing utilities. EXHIBIT "A", PART 3. FEES, SECTION C. We have received Amendment No: ~'to the riginal contract for out-of--scope services performed through December 2008. 3 ~~~~ As you are. awaze, during the month of January, we have continued coordination with the USAGE seeking a permit amendment to leave portions of the existing pipelines in place within the north side-slope of the Corpus Christi Ship Channel. This permit amendment was granted by'the USAGE on February 1, 2008, and. we further assisted the City in preparing a wriften response, of concurrence to the .USAGE. These services were performed for a total fee of .$11,445.00 A project walkthrough was held on February 21, 2008. Additional construction observation was required as the- construction completion was- delayed.. These services were completed for a total fee of $6,064.00. Please note that these fees do not include costs associated with construction administration services,such as attending the project walkthrough or construction closeout, as these services-were. included under our original contract. ' To summarize; we are requesting additional compensation in the amount. of $17,509.00 for out- of-scope services as described above.
