Utility Easement
KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT we, Dorothy B. Mattiza, James R. Wilkie, Charles P. Wilkie, and Glynda Wilkie
Sleght, each with a 25% undivided interest, herein collectively called "GRANTOR", of 3521 La
Cumbre Dr., Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas 78028-8230 in consideration of TEN DOLLARS
($10.00) paid by the City of Corpus Christi, ("GRANTEE"),1201 Leopard Street, Nueces County,
Texas 78469-9266, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has granted and conveyed and
does hereby grant and convey to the City of Corpus Christi, a Texas Home Rule municipal
corporation, its successors and legal representatives, the free and uninterrupted use, liberty,
privilege, and easement of going in, on, over, under and along a certain tract of land situated in
Nueces County, Texas and being described as follows:
See the metes and bounds property description attached and incorporated as
"Exhibit A". (Premises)
Map showing the location of the Utility Easement TOGETHER WITH A
TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT is attached and incorporated
as "Exhibit B".
The Temporary Construcfion Easement is further described as a 10.5 foot
wide, north of and adjacent to the permanent Utility Easement and a 14.5 foot
wide, south of and adjacent to the permanent Utility Easement. Said
Temporary Construction Easement is to be used for working room and storage
of materials and machinery during the construction phase. This Temporary
Construction Easement automatically terminates upon: i) one year from the
start of construction on the premises or ii) upon completion and acceptance of
the Wood River Lift Station Upgrades & Force Main Extension project by the
City Engineer or designee of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas.
SPECIAL PROVISIONS: The City of Corpus Christi agrees to restore the land
within the easement area to the same condition as existed prior to construction. All
construction is to be done in a prudent and workmanlike manner.
Together with the free ingress, egress and regress to and for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, and
its franchisees to construct, service, repair, maintain, inspect, lay, operate and keep public utility
lines under, on and along said Premises.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, ALL AND SINGULAR, the rights and privileges aforesaid to the City
of Corpus Christi, Texas, its successors, legal representatives, and franchisees for the use as a
UTILITY EASEMENT and right-of--way for so long as used for such purpose, and if the use of
said easement and right of way is ever abandoned, then the aforesaid rights and privileges cease.
COUNTERPARTS: This Right-of--Way Easement may be executed in counterparts and each shall
have the effect of an original.

The following description accompanies and is a part of a separate exhibit map.
Bearings are based o® the monumented south boundary line of Lots 1 thru 4, Section 1, Nueces
River Irrigation Park, a map of which is recorded in Volume A, Page 54 of the Map Records of
Nueces County, Texas.
Beginning, at a point on the west boundary line of said Lot 7, same line being the east boundary
line of Lot 6, said Nueces River Irrigation Park, for the northwest comer of this tract, from
which point a 5/8 inch iron rod found for the northwest comer of said Lot 7, same point being
the northeast comer of said Lot 6 bears North 10°00'00" East, a distance of 10.53 feet;
Thence, South 84° 09' 00" East, parallel with, at right angles to and 10.50 feet distant there from
the north boundary line of said Lot 7, same line being the south boundary line of Lot 2, said
Section 1, a distance of 563.45 feet, to a point on the east boundary line of the west'/z of Lot 7, a
description of which is recorded in Volume 1919, Page 42 of the Deed Records of Nueces
County, Texas, same line being the west boundary line of the east '/z of Lot 7, a description of
which is recorded in Volume 2193, Page 87, of the Deed Records of Nueces County, Texas, for
the northeast comer of this tract, from which comer the common north corner of said west '/z of
Lot 7 and said east''/z of Lot 7 bears North 10°00'00" East, a distance of 10.53 feet;
Thence, South 10° 00' 00" West, with the common boundary line of said west '/z of Lot 7 and
said east'/z of Lot 7, a distance of 15.04 feet, to a point for the southeast comer of this tract;
Thence, North 84° 09' 00" West, parallel with, at right angles to and 25.50 feet distant there
