HomeMy WebLinkAboutC2008-485 - 12/17/2008 - NADoc# c^008054910 DEPARTMENT OF ENGMEERING SERVICES PROPERTY AND LAND ACQUISITION DNISION ORIGINAL Mazter Channel 27, Parcel 23 Drainage Easement THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF NUECES KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT the CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI ("Grantor"), A Texas municipal corporation of 1201 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas 78469 herein referred to as Grantor in consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) paid by the City of Corpus Christi ("Grantee"), the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has conveyed, and does convey to The City of Corpus Christi, its successors, assigns, and legal representatives, the free and uninterrupted use, liberty, privilege, and easement of going in, on, over, under and along a certain tract of land situated in Nueces County, Texas and being described as follows: See the metes and bounds property description attached and incorporated as "EXHIBIT A". (Premises) Map showing the location of the DRAINAGE EASEMENT TOGETHER WITH A TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT is attached and incorporated as "EXHIBIT B". The Temporary Construction Easement automatically terminates upon completion and acceptance of the improvements of the Master Channe127 project by the City Manager of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas. SPECIAL PROVISION: The City of Corpus Christi agrees to restore the land within the easement areas to the same condition as existed prior to the construction project. Together with the free ingress, egress and regress to and for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, and its assigns to construct, service, repair, maintain, inspect, lay, operate and keep drainage facilities in, on, over, under and along said premises.
