TO THE
CDBG SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AND
GREENWOOD-MOLINA CHILDREN'S CENTER
This second amendment ("Second Amendment") is made by and between the City of
Corpus Christi ("City") and the Greenwood-Molina Nursery School, Inc., doing business
as Greenwood-Molina Children's Center ("Subrecipient").
WHEREAS, the City and the Subrecipient executed an agreement ("Agreement"),
which was approved by the City Council for the purpose of utilizing the City's FY07-08
Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Program funds;
WHEREAS, the Agreement terminated April 30, 2008;
WHEREAS, the parties executed an amendment ("First Amendment") to extend the
term and revise appropriate dates in the Agreement;
WHEREAS, the Subrecipient has timely requested an extension of the term stated in
the First Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the parties to the Agreement desire to execute this Second Amendment to
revise and extend the term, and its associated counterparts, stated in the Agreement,
as amended by the First Amendment.
Section 1. Section 1, subsection 1.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "November 30, 2008," and inserting'the date "June 30, 2009."
Section 2. Section 7, subsection 7.9, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "November 30, 2008," and inserting the date "June 30, 2009."
Section 3. Section 9, subsection 9.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "December 31, 2008," and inserting the date "July 31, 2009."
Section 4. Section 9, subsection 9.2, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "November 30, 2008," and inserting the date "June 30, 2009."
Section 5. By execution of this Second Amendment, the parties agree to extend the
term of the Agreement, and its associated counterparts, stated in the Agreement, as
amended by the First Amendment. All other terms, conditions, and covenants of the
Agreement and First Amendment not changed by this Second Amendment remain the
same and in full force and effect.
