And the Nueces County Appraisal District
STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF NUECES
Whereas, in November 2006, the City of Corpus Christi and the Nueces County
Appraisal District entered into amulti-year lease (Lease) of 9,071 squaze feet of office
space in the Nueces County Appraisal District Building located at 201 North Chaparral
on the third floor for use by the Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD);
Whereas, the original lease was amended in February 2008 by adding an additional 1,032
square feet of office space at the same terms and conditions of the original lease bring the
total office space leased by the CCPD to 10,103 square feet;
Whereas, the parties desire to decrease the area of the leased premises to the CCPD by
1,435 square feet;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Corpus Christi and the Nueces County Appraisal
District, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, agree as follows:
Section 2 Premises, of the Lease is amended to read as follows:
" 2. Premises. The City shall lease 8,863 (eight thousand, eight hundred sixty three)
square feet of office space in the County Appraisal District Building, located at 201
North Chaparral (Office Building) on the third floor, as set out on the attached and
incorporated Exhibit A (Premises)."
All other terms and conditions of the original Lease remain in effect. This Amendment
No. 2 is effective upon date of last signature.
