ASSOCIATION OF THE COASTAL BEND FOR SUMMER 2009
THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 9~' day of April, 2009, by the CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, a municipal corporation and political subdivision of the State
of Texas, hereinafter refereed to as "CITY," and Young Men's Christian Association of
the Coastal Bend, hereinafter referred to as "YMCA"
Whereas, the parties previously entered into Agreement approved by City Council on
May 27, 2008, under Ordinance No. 0277165 which authorized use of T. C. Ayers Pool
and adjacent grounds for summer 2008, and for up to three additional summer periods;
Whereas, the parties desire to extend the term of the Agreement for summer 2009, subject
to the following amendments:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
1) Section 1 of the Agreement, "Initial Term", is amended to read as follows:
"Subject to the remaining terms and conditions hereof, City agrees to provide
YMCA with use of T. C. Ayers Pool and adjacent grounds located at 926
Coke Street beginning on the 10`h of June 2009 through August 15, 2009.
2) All other terms and conditions of the previously executed Agreement between the
parties which aze not inconsistent herewith shall continue in full force and effect during
this Extension Period.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have themselves or through their duly
authorized officers executed this Extension Agreement effective as of the day and year
above first written.
