TO CONTRACT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "CITY", and Goldston Engineering, a CH2M
Hill Company, hereinafter called "CONSULTANT", agree to the following amendment to the Contract
for Professional Services for Doddridge Street Improvements -Ocean Drive to South Staples
Street (Project No. 62731 as authorized and administratively amended by:

Amendment No. 1 Janua 2, 2007 Administrative A royal $24,805.00
Amendment No. 2 Februa 19, 2007 Administrative A royal $24,880.00
Amendment No. 3 December 4, 2007 Administrative A royal $25,105.00
In the original contract, Section 2. SCOPE OF WORK shall be modified by the addition of the
following scope as shown in the attached Exhibit "A":
- For continued construction observation for the period of March 1, 2009 through
December 31, 2009
of Fees is amended as described in the attached Exhibit "A-1 " for a revised fee not to
exceed
a total restated fee not to exceed
All other terms and conditions of the Contract and Amendments between the City and Consultant
will remain in full force and effect.

The following is our revised request for an amendment to our Contract for Professional Services regarding
the scope, schedule and fee for the subject project.
Request your approval of Additional Services for the continued construction administration of this project
for the period of March 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009 (860 hours for 43 weeks at $140/hr) with Mr.
Philip L. Boehk, P.E. assigned as the City's Project Representative. Also request approval of
administrative services for the project for 86 hours (2 hours per week) at $75/hr. Mrs. Carol Pulliam will
provide these services as needed. The total amount of these additional services will be $126,850.
Subject to your approval and contract amendment authorization and use of City Project 6273 additional
service funds, we will proceed with providing these services. Thank you for the opportunity provided by
you to provide these engineering services.

DEFINITIONS
a. Board Member. A member of any board, commission or committee appointed by the City Council of the City of
Corpus Christi, Texas.
b. Employee. Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, either on a full or part time basis, but not as
an independent contractor.
c. Firm. Any entity operated for economic gain, whether professional, industrial or commercial and whether
established to produce or deal with a product or service, including but not limited to, entities operated. in the form
of sole proprietorship, as self-employed person, partnership, corporation, Point stock company, joint venture,
receivership or trust and entities which, for purposes of taxation, are treated as non-profit organizations.
d. Official. The Mayor, members of the City Council, CiN Manager Depu~City Manager, Assistant City Managers,
