HomeMy WebLinkAboutC2009-332 - 8/18/2009 - Approved010%39 SECOND AMENDMENT T4 THE INTERL~CAL CGGPERATIGN AGREEMENT FAR THE INTEGRATED ALERT N4TIFICATIGN AND INFGRMATIGN SYSTEM WHEREAS, the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for the Integrated Alert Notification and Information System ~"Agreement"} between the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Kleberg County and San Patricio County to share operating and maintenance costs was fir.~ally~executed on March 1, 200; a. ~ ~ x R WHEREAS, San Patricio County has since opted out of the Agreement and the remaining parties intend to continue aperating with certain modifications to the Agreement; WHEREAS, Section ? of the Agreement calls for any modification to the Agreement to be in writing, signed, and approved by the governing bodies of each party; Now, therefore, the parties mutually agree to the following modifications to the existing Interlocal Cooperation Agreement as follows: "~, PARTICIPANT FUNDING, The City agrees to pay operating and maintenance costs for the Alert System components. The Counties agree to reimburse ~}one third ~113r~~ ofthe system operating and maintenance costs to the City on ~ ~~~~~°~'~~ h~~~ an annual basis with a ment due before the end of the Counties res ective fiscal ears. Additionally, the Counties agree that individually authorized costs, such as long distance charges, will be the responsibility ofthe authorizing partyand will be reimbursed to the City upon presentation of billing.
