AMENDMENT NO. 3
CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "City," and RVE. INC., hereinafter called
"Engineer," agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Engineering Services for
Kennedy Causeway Lift Station - Proiect No. 7237 as authorized and administratively
amended by:

Amendment No. 1 October 1, 2003 Administrative royal $2,646.00
Amendment No. 2 December 29, 2003 Administrative royal $14,020.00
EXHIBIT A, SECTION 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, PART B. ADDITIONAL SERVICES, shall be
amended to include additional services for the items listed below:
1. Permitting
12. Update Plans. Specs & Bid Docs. Review the current plans for compliance with
current requirements of TxDOT, USACE and TCEQ; Meet with the City to discuss any
plan revisions and revise plans as necessary; Update the bid documents to current City
standards; Resubmit the permit applications to TxDOT and USACE to renew previously.

EXHIBIT A, SECTION 2. SCHEDULE, shall be amended as shown by the Proposed Project
Schedule attached hereto as Exhibit "A"
EXHIBIT A, SECTION 3. FEES, PART C. SUMMARY OF FEES shall be modified by the
Summary of Fees attached hereto as Exhibit "B".
All other terms and conditions of the February 18, 2003 contract between the City and the
Engineer, and of any amendments to that contract which are not specifically addressed herein
shall remain in full force and effect.

Re: Kennedy Causeway Lift Station (Project No. 7237) -Additional Services
Dear Mr. Stowers:
In response to your request to update the Kennedy Causeway Lift Station (Project No. 7237)
construction plans and specifications, bid documents and associated permits for bidding and
construction purposes, we are requesting additional fees as described below and shown on the
ADDITIONAL SERVICES MANHOUR ESTIMATE attached as Exhibit `A'.
Additional Services -Update Plans, Specs & Bid Docs: Review the current
plans for compliance with current requirements of TxDOT, USACE and TCEQ;
Meet with the City to discuss any plan revisions and revise plans as necessary;
Update the bid documents to current City standards; Resubmit the permit
applications and specs to TxDOT and USACE to renew previously approved
permits.

DEFINITIONS
a. Board Member. A member of any board, commission or committee appointed by the City Council of the City of
Corpus Christi, Texas.
b. Employee. Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, either on a full or part time basis, but not as
an independent contractor.
c. Firm. Any entity operated for economic gain, whether professional, industrial or commercial and whether
established to produce ordeal with a product or service, including but not limited to, entities operated, in the form
of sole proprietorship, as self-employed person, partnership, corporation, oint stock company, joint venture,
receivership or trust and entities which, for purposes of taxation, are treated as non-profit organizations.
d. Official. The Mayor, members of the City Council, City Manager, Depu~City Manager, Assistant City Managers,
Department and Division Heads and Municipal Cou Judges of the Ci of Corpus Christi, Texas.
