TO THE
CDBG SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AND
NUECES COUNTY MHMR
This first amendment ("First Amendment") is made by and between the City of Corpus
Christi ("City") and The Nueces County Mental Health and Mental Retardation Commu-
nity Center Foundation ("Subrecipient").
WHEREAS, the City and the Subrecipient executed an agreement ("Agreement"),
which was approved by the City Council for the purpose of utilizing the City's FY08-09
Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Program funds;
WHEREAS, the Subrecipient timely requested an extension of the Agreement in order
to complete the project contemplated under the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to execute this First Amendment to express their mutual
desire to reaffirm all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement
and to extend the term and compliance dates under the Agreement.
Section 1. By execution of this instrument, the parties agree to reinstate and reaffirm
all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement to have the same
force and effect as if the Agreement had continued in force to the execution date of this
First Amendment.
Section 2. Section 1, subsection 1.1, of the-Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "June 30, 2009" and inserting the date "September 30, 2010."
Section 3. Section 7, subsection 7.9, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "June 30, 2009" and inserting the date "September 30, 2010."
Section 4. Section 9, subsection 9.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "July 31, 2009" and inserting the date "October 31, 2010."
Section 5. Section 9, subsection 9.2, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "May 31, 2008" and inserting the date "September 30, 2010."
Section 6. By execution of this First Amendment, the parties agree to revise and
extend the term and compliance dates stated in the Agreement. All terms, conditions,
and covenants not changed by this First Amendment remain the same and in full force
and effect.
