AGREEMENT TO EXTEND LEASE WITH WAR-CAT YOUTH
FOOTBALL LEAGUE
THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this ay of January, 2010, by the
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, a municipal corporation and political subdivision of the
State of Texas, hereinafter referred to as "CITY," NUECES COUNTY, and War-Cat
Youth Football League, hereinafter referred to as "Lessee"
Whereas, the parties previously entered into a Lease Agreement between Lessee, City,
and Nueces County, ("Lease Agreement"), with termination date of January 21, 2010;
Whereas, section 1 of the Lease Agreement included an option to extend the term up to
two additional one year terms, subject to the approval of the City Manager and Lessee;
Whereas, the parties desire to extend the term of the Lease Agreement until July 21,
2010;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
1) Pursuant to Section 1 of the Lease Agreement, the parties agree to extend the
term of the Lease Agreement for six additional months, beginning on January
22, 2010 through July 21, 2010, ("Extension Period").
2) All other terms and conditions of the Lease Agreement, and which are not
inconsistent herewith, shall continue in full force and effect during this Extension Period.
A copy of the current Lease Agreement is attached as Exhibit A
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have themselves or through their duly
authorized officers executed this Extension Agreement effective as of the day and year
above first written.
