As has been discussed with Ms. Peggy Sumner, Environmental Services Director of the City of Corpus Christi, the. ~wity of Corpus Clu•isti has accumulated interest from advance payments made by TCEQ under Contract `,82••4-64576. Under III Subpart C, (2I -Payment) (i -Interest Earned on Advances) regarding program income of the Uniform Grant Management Standards, accrued interest must either be returned to TCEQ or used for a project for which tine grant fitnds tia:-e been designated. The TCEQ and the City of Corpus Christi (the Parties), agree that work >.u-der the document marked "Attachment A" to this letter agreement will be performed under the deadlines wnd budgetary amounts indicated. TCEQ will fund only the amo~mts indicated in the agreement; any additional amounts spent on the project shall be funded by the City of Corpus Christi. The only funding source is the accrued interest from the above referenced contract. The parties agree that the terms and conditions to this agreement are the same as ui the above-referenced Contract, and are incorporated by reference. This agreement will continence upon signature and will be in ei~'ect until December 31, 2010. If this agreement has not beer, signed by both parties by A~Tarch 1, 2010 it expires. Allocation: $13,833.70 (plus any additional interest that may accrue prior to disbursement) Goal: To upgrade the ozone generator ni order to be consistent with TCEQ calibration system, perform onsite calibrations with minimal technical problems and enors validating the performance of ozone analyzers located at the six monitoring sites. To order spare and consumable parts for current ambient air monitoring systems; including external pumps, large in-line filters, TX-40 filters for the mass transducer of 1400 AB' Tapered Element Oscillating Microbalance ('PEON) particulate matter monitors located at Dolly road monitoring site. Task 1: Order, test and use ozone generator for calibration of equipment Deliverable: Tools to calibrate systems and pumps and other parts for repairs and replacement Due Date: March 1, 2010
