Asst. Dir. of Engineering Services City of Corpus Christi P. O. Box 9277 Corpus Christi, Texas 78469 Subject: Oso Water Reclamation Plant Effluent Distribution Plan (Project No. 7259) Dear Pete: We are pleased to submit for your consideration a proposal for engineering services under Amendment No. 4 to provide a master plan for the effluent reuse distribution system. Plans were previously prepared and approved in 2003 to connect Corpus Christi Country Club (CCCC) and King's Crossing Country Club (KCCC) to the Oso WRP. This was done out of necessity and strictly for private use. Since that time other users have been identified and the need for a public effluent reuse distribution system has been realized. The project scope is described in the following: 1. Effluent Reuse Distribution System: • Determine future potential users. The system would be roughly limited to the Oso WRP collection system basin. • Identify up to 3 possible transmission main routes with up two variations each. • Three meetings with City staff to discuss: o scope /possible routes o interim meeting to discuss issues with each route, receive input to move forward with plan 0 100% review comments prior to finalizing report • Identify major obstacles and potential permitting issues with each route. • Provide a written report including map of the system. • Provide a preliminary estimate of probable construction cost. • This plan would not include a discussion of a fee structure for selling of the effluent. 2. Irrigation Pump Connection for Hans Sutter Park: Provide plans and specifications for a connection of a future irrigation pump. The plans would include a connection to the effluent discharge structure in the park and an electrical connection. The actual pump will need to be chosen after the irrigation system is designed. AMEND. N0.4 EXHIBIT "A" Pa e1 of3 Mr. Pete Anaya, P.E.
