INC., hereinafter called "CONSULTANT", agree to the following amendment(s) to the Contract for Engineering Services for Yorktown Boulevard -Staples to Cimarron (Project 64641, as authorized and administratively amended by: Original Small A/E Agreement March 24, 2009 Motion No. 2009-066 $999,871.00 Amendment No. 1 November 22, 2009 Administrative A royal $48,500.00 In the original contract, Section II. SCOPE OF SERVICES shall be modified by the addition of the following scope of Basic and Additional Services as shown on Exhibit "A-1"Task List. Basic Services -Design Phase 1. Revision of design drawings and contract documents to reflect exclusion of all landscape and irrigation elements previously included in design package. 2. Revision of design drawings and contract documents to reflect exclusion of all signalization improvements for the Yorktown/Staples Street intersection previously included in design package. 3. Revision of design drawings and contract documents to reflect exclusion of all street improvements for the Yorktown/Staples Street intersection previously included in design package. 4. Revision of contact documents to incorporate both Yorktown Boulevard -Staples to Cimarron (Project No. 6464) and Buckingham Estates Force Main and Oso Plant Effluent Line (Project No. 7426) into a single design deliverable. ^ In the original contract, Section III. A member of any board, commission, or committee appointed by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas. b. "Economic benefit". An action that is likely to affect an economic interest if it is likely to have an effect on that interest that is distinguishable from its effect on members of the public in general or a substantial segment thereof. c. "Employee." Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas either on a full or part- time basis, but not as an independent contractor. d. "Firm." Any entity operated for economic gain, whether professional, industrial or commercial, and whether established to produce or deal with a product or service, including but not limited to, entities operated in the form of sole proprietorship, as self-employed person, partnership, corporation, joint stock company, joint venture, receivership or trust, and entities which for purposes of taxation are treated as non-profit organizations. e.
