As for the questions below are my responses- I. What coordination from the electrician will you need to get the card reader to work? The only items that will require other contractors is the rough-in of a single gang box in between the elevators if there is will only be one call button used for both in the 1~` floor lobby. If there aze two call buttons then two rough- ins will be needed. That cable as shown will be routed to our existing hardware located on the first floor so conduit stubbed outside of the shaft to the accessible ceiling would be in order. We'll have a cazd reader that will need wire and mounting hardware holes provided by the elevator contractor. The travelling cable should have at 6 conductors for the reader available in the equipment penthouse for connection to our hazdwaze. The only item that appears to have changed since I first looked at the project is the apparent lack of a desk guazd who would select by input the floor that a visitor would be going to. Maybe Mike Walsh can comment on this item. From there it's all inputs/outputs and programming. 2. What will be the cost to install the card reader? I can finish a proposal as soon as everyone agrees on this SOW and Mike can comment on the desk guard.
