Box 9277, Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas 78469-9277 City}acting through its duly authorized City Manager or Designee tDirectvr of Engineering Services} and Pierce Gvvdwin Alexander and Linville [PGAL}, Inc., a Texas corporation, 5555 San Felipe, Suite 100D, Houston, Texas 7705fi, ~ArchitectlEngineer - AIE}, hereby agree to the amendment of the Contract far Professional Services authorized by Mvtivn No. 2004-224 on June 8, 2004 and September 13, 2005 and administratively amended February 16, 20D6 and administratively amended an April 18, 2008 and administratively amended an May 19, 200fi and by Motion Nv. 200fi-272 an August 29, 2005 and administratively amended September 11, 2008 and administratively amended May 15, 2007, and administratively amended June 14, 2007, by Motion 2007-176 on July 10, 2007, and administratively amended on April 28, 2008, and by Motion 2008-221 on August 19, 2008 and by Mvtivn Na. 2008-273 on October 21, 2008 and administratively on December 4, 200$ and by Motion 20D9-004 on January 13, 2009 and administratively vn June 18, 2009 and by Motive 2009-246 on September 8, 2009 and by Motion 2009-340 on December 8, 2009 agree to the following amendment: PGAL will provide additional Professional Design, Bid, Construction Phase and BusinesslFinancial Services for the Carpus Christi International Airport Cvnsolida#ed Rent Car Quick Turnaround Area. The scope of services will include: Phase 1 - Conce t Desi n: • A confirmation of previously collected and generated materials, along with a validation of the White Paper, to further define the project program and planning. This will be done in collaboration with the Airport and fhe RAC Industry. • A development of a Schematic Design that meets the defined project program AND the project budget defined by the Airport. Schematic Design will include the fallowing: o Architectural: Site Plan, Flvvr Plan, Rvvf Plan, Allocation Plan[s}, Building Elevations, Building Sections, Preliminary Finish Schedules, Signage Plans, Phasing Plans o Civil: Site Plan, Grading Plan, lJtility Plan, Paving Plan o Electrical: Site Plan, Floor Plan, One-Line Diagrams o Mechanical [HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection}; Floor Plans, ^ne-Line ^iagrams o Fueling and Equipment; Floor Plans, One-Line Diagrams, Equipment Schedules o LEE^ Planning, for an anticipated LEED Certified Project • An Order-of-Magnitude Cast Estimate • A critical path development schedule Phase 2 -Final ^esign: • ^vcumentation of Concept Design, to include all disciplines and engineering • Documentation of the phasing of the work and required demolition support ZO10-132 M2010-097be submitted #vr review at 50°I° and 95°Io completion Pa e 1 of 3 PGAL Q4127110 pOAlmpro~ementswE-PGALV1EAmd25.d^c 9 ~ND~ED • Anticipated cansuftant services include: o Architecture and Interior Architecture ^ Civil Engineering o Structural Engineering ^ Landscape Architecture o Mechanical, Electrical and Fire Protection Engineering o Fuel System and Specialty Equipment Engineering ^ Gevtechnical Engineering Eby City, not included} o Environmental Engineering (by City, not included} o Land Surveying (by City, not included} • Cvst estimate and Development Schedule updates at 6Q°Io and 95°Io • Bidding Assistance based ^n a competitive design-bid-build process • Permitting Assistance with and through the local governing authorities to obtain a building permit and any other required permits for construction Phase 3 -- Construction Services: • Support during construction to include: a Field site visits and observations v Attendance during progress meetings and the issuance of field reports o Review of shop drawings and finish materials and equipment o Issuance of architectural supplemental instructions and directives o Review of change order proposals and contractor pay applications o Issuance of substantial completion certificates o ^evelapment of punch lists o Review and development of project close-out documentation. Business and Financial 5u ort Services: • Provide support during business negotiations with the Rental Car Industry and other financial issues related to the funding of the consolidated project. The scope of services will include services as provided by the Scope of Services letter attached as Exhibit A-25. Exhibit A, Section C Summary of Fees, is amended by the authorize construction management and inspection services for an additional fee not to exceed $51 T,DOQ.Qd. A summary of the schedule of fees is attached as Exhibit B-25. Construction Management and Inspection services fees will be invoiced in a format that clearly indicates the project for which the fee is being invoiced. Invoices will be submitted only once per month. lnvaices for services provided by Amendment No. 23 will be based on the hourly rate as set forth by Amendment 23, Exhibit C-23. Any increase in fee required due to construction management or inspection services greaterthan the additional fee set forth by Amendment Na. 23 and Amendment 24 will be subject to a mutually agreement and evidenced in writing as an amendment of this contract. The City will separately provide or contract far specialty inspections far mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural and other systems. Invoices for travel, per diem and lodging wil! be evidenced by a copy of invoices. Invoices will be submitted only once per month. Each invoice will list the time incurred by classification, hourly rate and expense by project. Business and Financial Services will be invoiced based an the hourly rate set faith in Exhibit A-25. lnvvices far Business and Financial Services will be invoiced only for services requested and actual time incurred by the Consultant. Reimbursable expenses for Amendment No. 25 are limited to out of town travel, lodging, per diem, architectural models, and presentation boards and will be evidenced by copies of receipts. The restated total not tv exceed fee inclusive of all expenses is $3,927,TT 1.3~. All architectural or engineering plans and specifications delivered to the City for bid purposes will be sealed and signed by an architect{s}and engineer{s} registered to practice in the State of Texas. All other terms and conditions of the June 8, 20ti4 contract, as amended, between the Gity and Consultant will remain in full farce and effect.
