Contract Amendment Request No. 1
Mr. Anaya:
1rr+::- fIr.•tr.r(MI
The Corpus Christi City Council authorized a Contract for Professional Services with Freese
and Nichols, Inc. on June 9, 2009 (by M2009 -162) for the above referenced project.
The City provided Right -of -Way (ROW) maps for our use on this project, in lieu of conducting
ROW a re- establishment survey. Based on the ROW information provided by the City, in
conjunction with the limited number of ROW pins that were located during the topographic
survey, Freese and Nichols, Inc. has identified 19 parcels along the corridor for Phase 1
(between Saratoga Blvd. and Holly Rd.) where additional ROW will be needed (please refer
to the attached maps).
The scope of services for these Additional Services will be in accordance with Exhibit 'A' and
Exhibit 'A -1' of our Contract for Professional Services.
Our proposed fee for these additional services is $67,968. We request approval of
Amendment No. 1 (attached) and authorization to proceed with these Additional Services.
