RE: Pricing to Supply and Install Erosion Control Mat

System
CC Project No. 5125
don, As per your request I am submitting pricing to supply and instal] erosion control
matting in the galley where the drainage runoff from the lay down area is concentrated
causing erosion. Two product options are given below: Landlok 454 and Pyramat
HPTRM. Product data sheets are attached far your reference.
Pyramat is the option recommended by our erasion contra] subcontractor for this
application. Landlok 45D is a lower cost alternate and it will not last as long as the
Pyramat.
We estimated the total length to be protected at 32D feet. Far the top 150 feet where
the erosion pattern is narrow we estimate 2 rolls wide would be sufficient. For the next
17D feet where the erosion pattern fans out to the chute, we estimated 3 rolls wide. The
Landlok rolls are 5.5 feet wide and the Pyramat rolls are 8.5 feet wide.
Both products will be installed per manufacture's specifications. Both products will be
trenched in an the sides but the Pyramat will be trenched in lengthwise every 3D feet. In
addition the Pyramat will include seeding with %x" topsoil placement and sprayed with
F1exTerra FGM and topped with single net Erosion Control Blanket. The estimated
useful lire of the Landlok is 5 years whereas the Pyramat is 50 years.
Costs are presented below:
Mobilization: [LS}
Earthwork Repair: (LS}
TRM-450 Mat: (Estimated 585 SY}
Pyramat HPTRM (Estimated 75S SY}

RE: Pricing to Supply and Install Let Down Pipe far Repair
7. C. Elliot Landfill Final Cover System Installation ~ Landfill Gas Management
System
CC Project No. 5 i26
Jon, As per your request we am submitting pricing to supply and install 18 inch
corrugated HDPE pipe at the let doom structure at the asphalt entxance road. We have
already made a repair to the existing pipe about 104 feet upslope from the bottom as part
of our work that included installing RCP pipe under the main road. Subsequent to
completing this work another water piping hole opened up down slope about 16 feet up
from the bottom of the existing let down pipe. We uncovered this section and discovered
that a piece of the existing pipe had a $ap in it and rainwater had eroded a hole in the
cover above this gap. We also noticed that the existing upslope pipe is now oval and has
some rents in it. We can't tell how far up the slope the damage continues so the scope of
work assumes that we will have to replace the pipe up to the previously made repair, a
distance of about 12U feet.
We will uncover and remove the existing pipe and replace it with the one joint that is
already on site and supply four more joirrts for a total repair of 12Q feet. The pipe factory
attachment is a snap fit. We will also install some screws in each joint to strengthen the
connection. We will perform this scope of work for $4,570.00.
The pipe is in stock and readily available_ As you know we're close to completing our
work with the heavy equipment and I will be fuming it in within the next few days. So a
quick decision is essential as we have not included any mobldemvbiliTation charges. If it
is decided to make this repair after we have returned the equipment, we will have to add a
mob charge to this estimate.
Please let me know as quickly as passible if you want to make this repair.
