The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "City'', and GOLDSTON ENGINEERING A CH2M
HILL COMPANY hereinafter called "Engineer", agree to the fallowing amendments to the Contract for

VI. Storm Water Criteria and Design Manual
• Add 5 meetings for finalization of the Criteria and Design Manuals;
• Add 2 presentations {anticipated tv Planning and Zoning and City Council).
Phase 2 - Development of Storm Water Master Plan

^ Incorporate review comments in#o the final bound master plan that is indexed and
illustrated Eby watersheds and provide 5 hard copies.

- EXHIBIT "A", SECTION 2. PROJECT SCHEDULE shall be modified as autiined in the attached
Amendment No. 5 Exhibit "A".
- EXHIBIT "A", SECTION 3. FEES, PART C. SUMMARY OF FEES shall be modified as outlined in
the attached in Exhibit "B".
All other terms and conditions of the August 28, 2001 contract between the City and Engineer, and of any
amendments to that contract, which are not specifically addressed herein shall remain in full farce and
effect.

BACKGROUND
Contract Amendment #4 to the City of Corpus Christi Storm Water Master Plan (SWMP} allowed for a
total of 8 presentations for community consensus of the Drainage Criteria Guidance document. Since
Council adoption of Amendment #4, Goldston Engineering, a CH2M HILL Company, has completed the
contractual obligations. Since that time, we have had an additional 4 meetings, and anticipate $ more
meetingslpresentations related to the Storm Water Criteria and Design Manuals, and the SWMP Map
Sheets. The fallowing is a list of completed and anticipated meetingslpresentations, for a total of 21

We estimate a lump sum fee of $28,145 will be required to complete this work. A man-power
labor budget estimate by significant milestone is attached for your review and incorporation into
the contract documents.

DEFINITIONS
a. "Hoard member." A member of any board, commission, or committee appointed by the City
Council of the City of Carpus Christi, Texas.
b. "Economic benefit". An action that is likely to affect an economic interest if it is likely to have an
effect ^n that interest that is distinguishable from its effect on members of the public in general or a
substantial segment thereof.
c. "Employee." Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas either on a full or part-
time basis, but not as an independent contractor.
d. "Firm." Any entity operated for economic gain, whether professional, industrial or commercial, and
whether established to produce or deal with a product or service, including but not limited to, entities
operated in the form ^f sole proprietorship, as self-employed person, partnership, corporation, joint
stock company, joint venture, receivership or trust, and entities -vhich for purposes of taxation are
treated as non-profit organizations.
