In the original contract, SECTION 1.5COPE OF SERVICES. PART A. BASIC SERVICES shall be amended

In the original contract, SECTION 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES. PART B. ADDITIONAL SERVICES shall be
amended to modify the fallowing Additional Services, as shown on the attached Amendment No.1, Exhibit "-4
and "A-1 ".

Please allow this letter to serve as our formal request to amend our Contract to include additional Professional
Services as detailed in the attachments for the Wooldridge Road -Rodd Field Rd. to Quebec ^r., Project No.
6493. The fee for services associated with this amendment is $48,8D0, for a total revised contract amount of
~576,a23.
This amendment consists of services to be amended for the Design and Construction Fhases of this project. The
additional Design Phase Services include: design, topographic survey, subsurface utility exploration, franchise
utility coordination, and off-site drainage easement acquisition survey. The Construction Phase Services
include: basic construction and construction observation.

The Large AfE, Exhibit "A", shall be madifled to include the following:
1.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES
A. Basic Services.
2. Design Phase. The AIE will:
n. Design an additional 810 feet of storm water trunkline along a proposed drainage
easement.
^. Design a storm water outfali structure at the Mary Carroll Channel that consists of sloped
concrete riprap and toe-wall footings.
p. Recommend and include in the final design, an erosion control measure along the north
side slope of the Mary Carroll Channel, from the vutfall structure location west
approximately 450 feet to the Rodd Field Road structure.
4. Construction Phase. The AIE will perform contract administration to include the following:
j. All pertinent Construction Phase Services listed in the Original Contract will now, by this
Amendment, include all of the additional off-site drainage items. These items include:
$1 ~ feet of storm water trunkline [concrete box}, the storm water outfall structure, and
the erosion control measure used on the north side slope of the Mary Carroll Channel.
B. Additional Services:
3. Topographic Survey. All pertinent Topographic Survey Services listed in the Original
Contract will now, iay this Amendment, inr~ude the limits of additional off-site drainage sites.
These sites include a future 810 foot drainage easement, and the Mary Carroll Channel from
the vutfall structure location west approximately 450 feet to the Rodd Field Road structure.
5. Construction Observation Services. All pertinent Construction ^bservation Services listed
in the Original Contract will now, by this Amendment, include the construction and
installa#ion of the additional off-site drainage items. These items include approximately 810
feet of storm water trunkline {concrete box}, the storm water outfall structure, and the
erosion control device used.
9. Subsurface Utility Exploration Services. All pertinent Subsurface Utility Services listed in
the Qriginat Contract will now, by this Amendment, include the limits of two optional off-site
drainage routes. The two off-site drainage routes to be included are: a possible future
easement that begins 400 feet east of Rodd Field Read along Wooldridge Road that travels
south tv the Mary Carroll Channel and the other is along an existing utility easement
adjacent to the Rodd Field Road ROW that travels south from Wooldridge Rvad to the Mary
Carrell Channe{. Within this existing utility easement, the AIE will locate an existing water
transmission main.

11. Dff-Site Draina a Easement Ac uisition 5urve .The AIE will review existing RDW and
easements to ascaertain any conflicts and provide field Easement surveys and submit
Easement plats and descriptions for the City's use in the acquisition process. All work must
comply with Category 1-A, Condition I specifications of the Texas Society of Professional
Surveyors' Manual of Practice for Land Surveying in the State of Texas, Ninth Edition. Ail
work must be tied to and conform to the City's Global Positioning System {GPS} control
network. AIE Consultant will be required to perform all necessary deed research.

n. Provide additional plan and profile sheets of 810 feet of storm water trunkline {concrete
box culvert, including the existing ground profile, along with the future and proposed
hydraulic gradelines.
o. Provide additional detail drawings of the storm water ^ut#all structure at the Ma
Carroll Channel. The details will include all information {dimensions, Hates, etc
needed to constnact a suitable and long lasting outfall stnacture.
p. Research, recommend, and implement into the fins! plans, a suitable erosion control
device to be used for 450 fast an the north side slope of the Mary Carroll Channel.
4. Construction Phase
k. Expand all the pertinent Construction Phase Services to include all of the
additional off-site drainage items.
