FIRST AMENDMENT TO
THE BUSINESS INCENTIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CORPUS CHRISTI
BUSINESS AND JOB DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND TEXAS A & M
UNIVERSITY -CORPUS CHRISTI FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE COASTAL BEND
BUSINESS INNOVATION CENTER, A BUSINESS INCUBATOR
A. The Business Incentive Agreement between the Corpus Christi Business and Job
Development Corporation ("Corporation"} and Texas A & M University _ Corpus Christi
("TAMU-CC"} for Development of the Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center, a
Business Incubator, last executed on October 26, 2009, is amended as follows:
1. Section 3.c is revised to read as follows:
" c. Once TAMU-CC has acquired property, located at 10201 South Padre
Island Drive, that will be used for the CBBIC, the Corporation will
reimburse TAMU-CC far TAMU-CC's property acquisition costs. The
amount reimbursed by the Corporation may not exceed $1,500,000."
B. This amendment to the Agreement takes effect on the latest date that either party
executes this amendment
C. This amendment does not effect the term of the Agreement.
D. Any provision of the Agreement that is not expressly amended by this amendment
remains unchanged and in full force and effect.
E. This amendment to the Agreement may be executed in any number of counterparts,
each of which shall be deemed an original and constitute one and the same instrument.
