RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF NUECES
KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT we, MARGARET A. MARKINS AND LINDA KAY COX, collectively, ("GRANTOR")
of 4205 Driftwood, Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas 78411 in consideration of TEN
DOLLARS ($10.00) paid by the CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI (~~GRANTEE"), of 1201 Leopard
Street, Carpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas 78401, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
has granted, sold and conveyed, and does hereby grant, sell and convey to the City of Corpus Christi,
a Texas Home Rule municipal corporation, its successors and legal representatives, the free and
uninterrupted use, liberty, privilege, and easement of going in, an, over, under and along a certain
tract of land situated in Nueces County, Texas and being described as follows:
See the metes and bounds property description attached and
incorporated as "Exhibit A". {Premises)
A map showing the location of the RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT is
attached and incorporated as "Exhibit B". (Premises)
Together with the free ingress, egress and regress to and for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, and its
franchisees, to construct, operate, repair and maintain streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters and
appurtenances upon said Premises for the public use by foot, with automobiles, carts, carriages and
all other vehicles and all other means of transportation necessary or convenient at all times and in all
seasons in, along and upon said Premises, as well as to lay, operate, inspect, replace, repair, service
and maintain public utility lines, storm sewers, and franchised utility lines in, on, over, under and
along said Premises.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all and singular, the rights and privileges aforesaid to the City of
Corpus Christi, Texas, its successors, legal representatives, franchisees and the public, for the proper
use as public streets and utility easements for so long as used for such purposes, and if the use for
said easements and rights of way is ever abandoned, then the aforesaid rights and privileges cease.
COUNTERPARTS: Multiple original copies of this RIGHT-OF-WAY EASEMENT may be
executed, and the execution of this easement may be through the execution by the parties of separate
counterparts. All of the original copies of this easement together shall constitute one agreement,
binding on all of the parties hereto notwithstanding that the parties hereto may or may not be
signatories to the same counterpart. Each of the undersigned parties authorizes the assembly of one
or more original copies of this easement, such that each such original copy of this easement shall
consist of (i) the body of this easement and (ii) counterpart signature pages and acknowledgment

Being D.408 acres of land for additional right-of-way far Airline Road, said 0.406 acre tract being out of a
5.00 acre tract recorded in Clerk File No. 499557, Deed Records of Nueces County, Texas, and being out
of Lot 2fi, Section 20, Flour Bluff and Encinal Farm and Garden Tracts recorded in Volume A, Pages 41-
43„ Map Records of Nueces County, Texas, and this 0.408 acre tract being more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of this tract, said corner having a coordinate of N 17131642.41', E
1351643.06', Texas State Plane Grid, Texas South Zone, NAD'83, and said corner being on the present
west right-of-way line of Airline Road;
Thence S D2-D9-26 W with the east boundary of this tract, the same being the present west right-of way
line of Airline Road, 977.27 feet, to the southeast corner of this tract;
Thence N 61-23-53 W with the southwest boundary of this tract and said 5 acre tract, the same being
