TO THE
CDBG SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CItY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AND
FIGHTING TO RID GANGS
This second amendment ("Second Amendment") is made by and between the City of
Corpus Christi ("City") and Fighting to Rid Gangs in America Foundation, Inc.
("Subrecipient").
WHEREAS, the City and the Subrecipient executed an agreement ("Agreement"),
which was approved by the City Council for the purpose of utilizing the City's FY07-0$
Community Development BlocEc Grant ("CDBG") Program funds for a project to be
constructed and completed by the Subrecipient;
WHEREAS, the Subrecipient timely requested an extension of the Agreement, in order
to complete the project contemplated under the Agreement, and the parties executed an
amendment ("First Amendment"} to the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to execute this Second Amendment to further extend the
time of completion of the project.
Section 1. Section 1, subsection 1.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "June 30, 201 D" and inserting the date "April 30, 2D11."
Section 2, Section 7, subsection 7.9, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "June 30, 2010" and inserting the date "April 30, 2011."
Section 3. Section 9, subsection 9.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "July 31, 2D10" and inserting the date "May 31, 2011."
Section 4. Section 9, subsection 9.2, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date ".tune 30, 2010" and inserting the date "April 30, 2011."
Section 5. By execution of this Second Amendment, the parties agree to revise and
further extend the term stated in the Agreement and First Amendment. All o#her terms,
conditions, and covenants of the Agreement not changed by the First Amendment and
this Second Amendment remain the same and in full force and effect.
