ADDENDUM TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ~~~ `~
BETWEEN CITYICOUNTYIRTA AND PICCIPOCCA OF NUECES COUNTY
This Addendum to Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) ("Addendum") is an
addendum to that certain MOU for the upgrade of the Radio System. for all public safety
users in Nueces and San Patricio Counties dated January 6, 2005 between Port Industries
of Corpus Christi {"PICC"} and Port of Corpus Christi Authority of Nueces County,
Texas {"POCCA") and City of Corpus Christi/County of Nueces/Regional Transportation
Authority ("City/CountylRTA"}, all political subdivisions of the State of Texas.
NOW THEREFORE, the parties agree to the following additions or revisions to part of
said Memorandum of Understanding as if contained therein:
1. SERVICES, RIGHTS, AND OBLIGATION OF POCCA.
A. Allow City to install backup communications equipment on POCCA radio
towers.
B. Allow City to use the light standards or buildings to accommodate antenna
and repeaters equipment.
C. Provide backup radio communications for POCCA Police Department.
SERVICES, RIGHTS, AND OBLIGATION OF CITY.
A. Purchase repeaters equipment and antenna. Equipment and antenna are the
City of Corpus Christi Police Department, Communications Division's
("CCPD"} property and wi11 be return to CCPD upon expiration of the MOU.
B. Install backup communications equipment. Repeaters will remain idle {non-
transmitting) until remotely activated by CCPD.
2. The remainder of the MOU not in conflict with the changes provided above shall
remain in full force and effect.
The duly authorized representatives ofthe parties execute this Addendum to the
Memorandum of Understanding.
