TO CONTRACT FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "CITY", and LNV ENGINEERING, hereinafter
called "CONSUL.TANT," agree to the following amendment to the Contract for Professional Services
for ADA Master Plan [BOND ISSUE 2008) (Project No. 6485), as authorized and amended by:
Ori final Contract November 17, 2009 Motion No. M2009-323 $370,410.00
Amendment No. 1 March 30, 2010 Administrative A royal $45,840.00
In the original contract EXHIBIT "A", PART 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES, SECTION A. BASIC
SERVICES, ITEM NO. 1 MASTER PLAN PHASE shall be amended to include additional Master
Plan Phase services as set forth in the attached Amendment No. 2 Exhibit "A".
In the original contract EXHIBIT "A" PART 3. FEES SECTION C. SUMMARY OF FEES shall be
modified and is attached as Amendment No. 2 Exhibit "A" for a revised fee not to exceed
$24.800.00 {Twenty-Four Thousand Slx Hundred Dollars and Zero Cents), for a total restated
fee not to exceed $440.850.00 iFour Hundred Forty Thousand Eight Hundred~Fifty Dollars and
Zero Cents).
All other terms and conditions of the November 17, 2009 contract and amendments between the
City and Consultant will remain in full force and effect.

CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
The City of Corpus Christi, Texas hereinafter called "City", and LNV, Inc. hereinafter called "Engineer",
agree to the following amendments to the Contract for Engineering Services for the following project:

The Large A!E shall be modified #o include the following paragraphs:
BASIC SERVICES
1. Ma ter Plan Phase
1. Create standardized drawings far ADA pedestrian infrastructure improvements, consisting of the
preferred design of curb ramps for various types of intersection/sidewalk configurations. Dnce
adopted by the City, #hese drawings will become the City of Corpus Christi ADA Pedestrian
Curb Ramp Standards.
2. Prepare a suggested Development Services Ordinance for presentation to Council that will
require all new construction within the City to comply withladhere #o the newly adopted City of
Corpus Christi ADA Pedestrian Curb Ramp Standards.
TIME= OF PERFORMANCE
All work in this Amendment No. 2 shall be completed within 90 additional calendar days to the original
contract time.

a. "Board member." A member of any board, commisslon, or committee appointed by the
City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas.
b. "Economic benefit". An action that is likely to affect an economic interest if it is likely to
have an effect on that interest that is distinguishable from its effect on members of the public
in general or a substantial segment thereof.
a "Employee." Any person employed by the City of Corpus Christi, Texas either on a full or
part-time basis, but not as an independent contractor.
d. "Firm." Any entity operated for economic gain, whether professional, industrial or
commercial, and whether established to produce or deal with a product or service, including
but not limited to, entities operated in the form of sole proprietorship, as self employed
person, partnership, corporation, joint stack company, joint venture, receivership or trust, and
entities which far purposes of taxation are treated as non-profit organizations.
