Signal Timing Implementation • The AIE and AIE's subconsultant will meet with City signal technician staff to discuss format for signal timing implementation and schedule for implementation. One (1) meeting has been assumed for budget purposes. • Obtain a format from the City for presentation of the optimized signal timing data. The signal timing will be uploaded into the Marc NX system far Eagle controllers and Aries far Ecanolite controllers. The Marc NX and Aries softwares will be provided by the City so that the AIE's subconsu[tant may transfer the optimized signal timing information into this database system. • The AIE's subconsultant will then meet with the City and upload the signal timing information into the controllers with the assistance of the City. Based on discussions with the City, mast of the intersections within the study area are remotely connected to the traffic signal shop at 2525 Hygeia Street. The AIE understands that some intersections may not be remotely connected and hence, may have to be modified physically in the field by the AIE's subconsultant. The AIE's subconsultant will field verify the signal #iming upload at each intersection controller. The City will provide the appropriate staff to assist in the uploading and field verification process. The City staff assigned will need to be available for the duration of the uploading and field verification process except as necessary to respond to traffic signs! emergencies. • Upon successful completion of the signal timing data upload, the A/E and the AIE's subconsultant will drive through the corridors to check the implemented coordination and fine-tune the signal timing as necessary. • Post implementation travel time runs will be completed at this time. • Prepare a report summarizing the reductions in travel time. Apply standardized metrics (such as thane published by TTI) to calculate the value of fuel savings, time savings and reduction of emissions. It should be noted that the AIE's subconsultant will be IMSA certified and will handle the implementation of the signal timing data with the City, but under AIE's supervision. Deliverables a 1.
