TO THE
CDBG SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE
CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AND
BROOKS CHAPEL AME CHURCH
This second amendment ("Second Amendment") is made by and between the City of
Corpus Christi ("City") and Brooks Chapel AME Church Early Childhood Development
Center, Inc. {"Subrecipient").
WHEREAS, the City and the Subrecipient executed an agreement ("Agreement"},
which was approved by the Ci#y Council for the purpose of utilizing the City's FY07-08
Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Program funds;
WHEREAS, the Subrecipient timely requested an extension of the Agreement, in order
to complete the project contemplated under the Agreement, and the parties executed an
amendment {"First Amendment") to the Agreement;
WHEREAS, the Subrecipient needs additional time extended in order to complete the
project contemplated under the Agreement and First Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to execute this Second Amendment to further extend the
time of completion of the project.
Section 1. By execution of this instrument, the parties agree to reinstate and reaffirm
all terms, conditions, and covenants stated in the original Agreement and First
Amendment to have the same force and effect as if the Agreement had continued in
force to the execution date of this Second Amendment.
Section 2. Section 1, subsection 1.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "September 30, 201 Q" and inserting the date "April 30, 2011,"
Section 3. Section 7, subsection 7.9, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "September 30, 2010" and inserting the date "April 30, 2011."
Section 4. Section 9, subsection 9.1, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "October 31, 2010" and inserting the date "May 31, 2011."
Section 5. Section 9, subsection 9.2, of the Agreement is amended by deleting the
date "September 30, 2010" and inserting the date "April 30, 2011."
Section 6. By execution of this Second Amendment, the parties agree to revise and
further extend the term .stated in the Agreement and First Amendment. All other terms,

conditions, and covenants of the Agreement not changed by the First Amendment and
this Second Amendment remain the same and in full force and effect.
