RODD FIELD PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT P20362
Whereas, City of Corpus Christi established the Rodd Field Public Improvement District by
Ordinance Na. 025496 on September 23, 2003 in accordance with Chapter 372, Texas Local Government
Code, and amended the Rodd Field Public improvement District boundary map by Ordinance Na. 026563
on December 13, 2005;
Whereas, City of Corpus Christi authorized and levied an assessment amount of $790,300 as a
special assessment to the properties within Radd Field Public Improvement District as the portion of the
costs for the public improvements to the property;
Whereas, Texas Local Government Code Section 372.018 provides that an assessment with interest,
the expense of collection, and reasonable attorney's fees, if incurred, is first a prior lien against the
property assessed;
Whereas, the Rodd Field Public Improvement District included property situated in City of Carpus
Christi, currently owned by SHAW, KEVIN, said property located at 6901 ROAD B, Corpus Christi, Nueces
County, Texas, and described as follows: FLOUR BLUFF &ENC FRM GDN TRACT .488 AC OUT OF TR 19 LT 27
SEC 21, with current Nueces County Tax Assessor Tax ID number 2476-0021-0275, and said property is a
parcel out of property originally included in the Rodd Field Public improvement District identified by Tax
Assessor Tax ID number 2476-0021-0275;
Whereas the assessment against the above described property identified under Nueces County Tax
Assessor Tax ID No. 2476-0021-0275 has been fully paid;
Now therefore, in consideration of payment received, the City of Carpus Christi releases the above
described property located at 6901 ROAD B with legal description of FLOUR BLUFF &ENC FRM GDN TRACT
.488 AC OUT OF TR 19 LT 27 SEC 21 and the property owner, their heirs, assigns, from all liens and personal
liability heretofore created by such Ordinances and does declare such assessment and lien fully discharged
and satisfied.
