RELEASE OF LIEN
RODD FIELD PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT P20394
Whereas, City of Corpus Christi established the Rodd Field Public Improvement District by
Ordinance No, 025496 an September 23, 2003 in accordance with Chapter 372, Texas Locale Government
Code, and amended the Rodd Field Public Improvement District boundary map by Ordinance No. 026563
on December 13, 2005;
Whereas, City of Carpus Christi authorized and levied an assessment amount of $790,300 as a
special assessment to the properties within Rodd Field Public Improvement District as the portion of the
costs far the public improvements to the property;
Whereas, Texas Local Government Code Section 372.018 provides that an assessment with interest,
the expense of collection, and reasonable attorney's fees, if incurred, is first a prior lien against the
property assessed;
Whereas, the Rodd Field Public Improvement District included property situated in City of Corpus
Christi, currently owned by D & S S CONSTRUCTION INC, said property located at 7010 SCHNAUZER 5T,
Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, and described as follows: RODD VILLAGE LT 10 BLK 10, with current
Nueces County Tax Assessor Tax ID number 7463-0010-0100, and said property is a parcel out of property
originally included in the Rodd Field Public Improvement District identified by Tax Assessor Tax ID number
2476-0021-0257;
Whereas the assessment against the above described property identified under Nueces County Tax
Assessor Tax ID No.7463-0010-0100 has been fully paid;
Now therefore, in consideration of payment received, the City of Corpus Christi releases the above
described property located at 7010 5CHNAUZER ST with legal description of RODD VILLAGE LT 10 BLK 10
and the property owner, their heirs, assigns, from al! liens and personal liability heretofore created by such
Ordinances and does declare such assessment and lien fully discharged and satisfied.
